Bruce Brett Weber  is an American college basketball coach. He born at October 19, 1956 - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States.  Weber is the former head coach of the University of Illinois men's basketball team.

Bruce Weber was fired

After nine years of leading the Illini, Weber was fired today (March,9,2012) by first-year athletic director Mike Thomas. He has three years remaining on his $1.5 million a year contract, will receive a buyout of $3.9 million, or $1.3 million a year.Weber is the third coach fired since November by Thomas, who was hired in August.  Football coach Ron Zook ($2.6 million) and women’s basketball coach Jolette Law ($620,000) also have been dismissed. Their combined buyouts are more than $7 million.
